Session
The Session is the governing body of the church. The term Presbyterian literally comes from the New Testament Greek presbyteros which means elder. The Presbyterian church is governed by its people and is named for those who make the decisions – the elders.
Currently the session is made up of 10 elders and the pastor who moderates the session. The group meets monthly.
